The height of Victor Wembanyama scared fans upon his arrival in the NBA at the start of the current season, but not players like Ja Morant. The “just” 1.88m tall guard had his first meeting with the rookie this Tuesday, the 2nd, and performed a dunk on his opponent, going viral on social media.
The move was part of the team’s victory. Memphis Grizzlies over the San Antonio Spurs, by 106 to 98, meaning Morant also got the better of the overall duel. The Memphis star finished as the scorer of the match, with 26 points scored, in addition to distributing 10 assists, and commented on the dunk after the end of the game.
