Americup 2025: Argentina begins qualification play at home

The light blue and white will begin the road to the Americup 2025 playing at home.

The beginning of 2024 brings a reintegration into the classification windows. The Argentine National Team will have a clear first goal, to return to the Americup to be held in 2025. The light blue and white team is in group A with Chile, Colombia and Venezuela. The transatlantic country will face the first qualifying dates first.

The Islas Malvinas Sports Center in Mar del Plata will be the stage where Argentina will compete in the initial jump. The rival will be Chile, and the event will be prepared for Thursday, February 22. A few days later, on the 26th, to be precise, they will meet again but this time on the visiting ground, at Antonio Azurmendi in Valdivia. Although there is no official confirmation yet, it is believed that Pablo Prigioni will not be leading our country’s team, so it remains to be seen who will take the reins of the team in the absence of the main coach.
