Fourteen games to close out the NBA week

The first Friday of 2024 will have no more or less activity for 28 of the 30 teams in the league, with only the Bucks and Spurs absent.

With three televised games, the NBA closes out the first week of the year with a sprawling 14-game slate, which will be the busiest day until Friday, April 12, the second-to-last of the regular season. Everyone is playing, leaders, opponents, underdogs, those fighting for play-in positions and those looking for a better chance in the draft. All but the Bucks and Spurs, two of those who played last night.
