BC head coach Lokomotiv-Kuban and the Slovenian national team Alexandre Sekulic told how long the negotiations with the club management lasted.
Sekulic has led Lokomotiv-Kuban since 2022. Last season, under his leadership, the Krasnodar club reached the final of the VTB United League for the first time in its history.
— Everyone knows how difficult the labor situation in Russia is currently in Europe. But I doubted it until I got the agreement from the Slovenian Basketball Federation, because at that time I was already head coach of the national team. As soon as they gave me the green light, I immediately began negotiating the details of the contract. After all, everyone knows how important Lokomotiv-Kuban is in basketball and what heights the club has reached,” Sekulic told the Championship.
