The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced an important decision made during martial law.
Basketball fans will return to the stands of Ukrainian competitions. This was reported by the Basketball Federation.
“The Ministry of Youth and Sports has made appropriate changes to order No. 1587 dated May 28, 2022 on certain issues of holding all-Ukrainian sports events under martial law in the security clause, in accordance with the decision of the protocol of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 1, 2023 No. 133.
Thanks to the changes made, spectators will be allowed in the stands of sports competitions while following the appropriate safety protocol,” the statement said.
The FBU also mentioned that each hall will be subject to a separate entry procedure for holding matches with spectators. The main criterion is a bomb shelter within a radius of 500 meters from the competition area. The number of fans will be regulated individually for each hall.
We remind you that the day before it became known that spectators in Ukraine were allowed to return to the stands of volleyball competitions.
