The basketball player started applying for a French passport a few months ago, the procedure was approved on July 5. It should be noted that the French Basketball Federation does not officially comment on the situation around the player, as it is waiting for the process to be completed.
It is claimed that Embiid will not play for the France national team at EuroBasket in September.
