La Magia Verde welcomed San Lorenzo to the Founding Members of the National League. It was a victory for Gimnasia, who already won against Platense in the first game of the year, also at home. Martín Villagrán’s men are in 11th place in the table and will be looking for the top 10.
Gimnasia started the year with great local dominance

Iván Gramajo (11 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 steals and 1 block) was absolutely ruthless and not only led the team, but also gave victory to the Greens with the assists he generated for Gerard De Vaughn (17 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block). Those from Comodoro were left with another victory at home and this is the second in a row at the beginning of 2024.

Gimnasia wants to maintain its good streak and will hit the road to visit the Regatas de Corrientes, perhaps one of the most tiring outings away from home for Comodoro residents due to the distance between the provinces. However, Villagrán’s men will try to break into the top ten with this restructured team after the break. San Lorenzo, for its part, will return to Roberto Pando to welcome Riachuelo de La Rioja and will look to continue its intention of breaking into the top 5.
