National League: Ferro beat Platense at home

Caballito’s team dominated from start to finish and defeated Calamar, ending the season undefeated.

In Sunday night’s only game in the National League, Caballito’s team played one of its best games of the season and beat Platense, as a guest, 72 to 80. In this way, Vicente López’s team lost in their first home game so far in the 23/24 season. With this result, Ferro achieved its third straight win and a 7-10 record that allowed it to climb to 13th place. Calamaris, for their part, remains in fourth place with an 11-5 record and two straight losses.

Those led by Fede Fernández took to the field with a lot of concentration on defense. They distracted the rival who began to accumulate defeats and suffered counterattack points. With Tintorelli punishing in the paint and the Spano – Lezcano duo on the perimeter, they had to row from behind for most of the game. Beyond some reactions, the game is always governed by the visit. The bad news is closing soon. In an offensive action, Spano stepped on an opponent’s foot and had to be helped off the playing field by his teammates, without stepping. This is the moment for Juan Pablo Cantero to take a step forward. The point guard was vital in the closing, with some flashy assists to find points from his teammates.

At home the best came from the hands of Juan Pablo Corbalan, author of 18 points, with 5/7 in doubles, but with a scant 2/7 from the perimeter.

What’s next:
