National League: Regata beat Independiente

The Corrientes team remains in the match, despite the absences.

The night of the National League closed with a new celebration for the rowers as a home team. Despite the absence of Selem Safar, Regatas dominated from start to finish and won against Independiente de Oliva 75 to 67. With this result, the rowers maintained a positive balance in the season. In 16 performances they have 9 wins and 7 losses, which puts them in eighth place. The Cordobans, for their part, have accumulated three straight losses and, with a record of 6-11, have fallen to fifteenth place.

As has been the case this season, when Regatas gets a chance to run the field, he can make a difference. That was key, especially at the beginning of the match, where he took advantage of the speed of his figures to punish with quick exits. Fernando Calvi’s men also enjoyed effectiveness from the perimeter, especially in the second half of the game, where they ran away to a maximum of 16. Beyond some reaction from the visit, the leadership was always local, for the celebration of the team and the Corrientes public.
