The Brooklyn Nets player hasn’t missed a game since he landed in the NBA. How far can you go?
Mikal Bridges, Brooklyn Nets forward, reached an impressive mark. It seems like a lie, but it is absolutely true. The player hasn’t missed a game since he arrived in the NBA in 2018. The Pennsylvania native has accumulated, with yesterday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, a whopping 434 consecutive games coming out on the hardwood.
It’s true: he hasn’t missed a game since he came into the league. A mark that seems unattainable but, nevertheless, ranks high on the list of records. AC Green, a former Los Angeles Lakers player in the 1980s, played 1,192 consecutive games. It seems out of reach for “Iron Man Bridges”, but at this rate who’s stopping him? Mikal Bridges is known as “Iron Man” because of his incredible physical fitness that has allowed him not to miss a single game since he arrived in the NBA. The full record seems difficult, but, in the meantime, Bridges continues to feed his figure.

So far in the 23/24 season, the Brooklyn Nets have played 42 regular season games, with a record of 17 wins and 25 losses which, so far, has put them out of the Play In positions. In addition to his aforementioned record, the forward is also one of the team’s offensive leaders, averaging more than 21 points per game, in addition to 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and nearly one steal. If he completes the regular season of 82 games without an absence, his perfect attendance will reach, eclipsing his closest pursuers: Kevon Looney and Harrison Barnes.
