Olympic de La Banda received Fusion to play the Santiago classic in Vicente Rosales for the National League. It’s a victory for Quimsa, who have amassed 16 wins out of 17 played and sit as the sole leader in the standings. El Negro now has four games and needs to quickly overcome this defeat to try to catch up with his biggest rivals.
The second half was all Quimsa, although it was a game with few goals, the visit managed to restore the deficit quickly. Leading the way in goals, Leandro Ramella’s men managed to dominate the flow of the game against an erratic Olympic team. The ball did not go in for the locals and the distances began to widen. Fabián Ramírez Barrios (10 points, 14 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 block) commanded the Fusion attack with effective defense and running. It all ended when Quimsa got its 13th straight win by six points. Success that takes them away from the standings and imposes them only as leaders.
What’s next for you two?
