The NBA All-Star game is approaching and the competition has announced the headliners from each conference for this friendly competition that will celebrate its 73rd edition. With the return of the match between East and West, it is expected that ; Beyond the fun, there was a bit of friction between both teams, something that has been relatively absent in recent years. With the teams’ starting five confirmed, the basketball world will have to bow at the feet of Lebron James, once again.
The King’s presence marks the twentieth edition in his career that spanned 21 seasons in the basketball elite. The only year in which he did not access the game was in the 2003-2004 edition, when he was making his first steps in the NBA. From then on his presence was guaranteed. As if this was not enough, his fame has not gone unnoticed because all these times he has been part of the starting quintet. In this way, he left the record (and the tie) with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who in his 20 years in the NBA was selected 19 times for the All-Star Game. Rounding out the top six with the most votes: Kobe Bryant (18), Tim Duncan (15), Kevin Garnett (15) and Shaquille O’Neal (15).
