In a more than legendary night, the Slovenian Luka Doncic continues to write its name in the history of NBA. With a brilliant performance against Atlanta Hawkswhich ended in victory for Dallas Mavericks by 148 to 143, the player scored an impressive 73 points, breaking his own Texas franchise scoring record and setting a new, even more difficult one.
Flirting with a triple-double, Doncic finished the game with 73 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. The Slovenian became the 10th player in history to achieve the score in an NBA game, in the same week that Joel Embiid scored an impressive 70 points against San Antonio Spurs.
The Texan team’s previous scoring record belonged to number 77, who had scored 60 points.
