Defender Anton Ponkrashov signed a contract with Nizhny Novgorod, reports the press service of the basketball team.
The agreement with the player is signed for one season.

And thirdly, five months ago my daughter was born, so Russia and Russian clubs were a priority, although there were also options to continue my career in Iran. When Nizhny Novgorod presented an offer, we quickly agreed on the terms. I am very happy to have signed a contract and to have been part of such a great team, said the press service of the team, citing Ponkrashov.
Ponkrashov is the European champion in the Russian team, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games (2012). At the club level, the basketball player became a three-time winner of the VTB United League.
