“I’m fine in Russia. As for me, it’s calm and peaceful here. In winter, of course, it’s a little cold. But you shouldn’t forget that I myself went to university in the ‘Illinois, so the snowdrifts and frosts don’t surprise me.
I really like Krasnodar. Everything at Lokomotiv is built very professionally. We have good coaches, players, medical services and club staff in our team. We are all on the same wavelength and interact very clearly. For me, as someone coming from the other side of the world, it’s very important,” Akun-Purcell was quoted as saying by “Championship”.
This season, Devon Akun-Purcell received the VTB United League November Most Valuable Player (MVP) award and will also participate in the league’s All-Star Game.
