The head coach “Milwaukee Bucks » Doc Rivers will lead the Eastern Conference team to the NBA All-Star Game, the league’s press service reported.
Rivers was named Milwaukee’s head coach on January 27. The 62-year-old specialist succeeds Adrian Griffin, who was dismissed in January. Under the leadership of Rivers this season, Milwaukee has played 3 matches in which they have achieved a victory.
During his career, Rivers coached Orlando, Boston, the Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia. The coach led the Celtics to an NBA title (2008), the league’s Coach of the Year (2000) and three former NBA All-Star head coaches (2008, 2011, 2021).
The NBA All-Star Game will take place on February 18 in Indianapolis.
