Moscow CSKA has signed a contract with French striker Livio Jean-Charles, according to the basketball club’s website.
The deal with the 28-year-old was signed under the 1+1 scheme.
Jean-Charles spent the previous two seasons for Greek Olympiacos, with whom he won the domestic league and the Cup and featured in the 2022 Final Four.
– Livio has the experience of playing in the Euroleague for Olympiacos in the last two seasons and for Asvel a year earlier. He is a dynamic and athletic “tall” who can play in the fifth and fourth number positions. He is versatile offensively, as he can quickly “fall” under the shield and throw from above, and at the same time he is able to hit open shots from a distance of three points. Livio is a very good defensive player who can keep bigs in the paint and defenders in the perimeter. I think he will fit well into our system and become another important part of our team,” said CSKA head coach Emil Rajkovic.
