Third NBA team retires Shaquille O’Neal’s number

National Basketball Association (NBA) ClubMagic of Orlando » withdrew from circulation the 32nd number in which he played Shaquille O’Neal reports the team’s press service.

The basketball player played for Orlando for four seasons from 1992 to 1996. In 1995, the American center helped the team reach the NBA Finals for the first time in its history.

Shaquille O’Neal became the first player in Orlando history to receive such an honor.

In April 2013, the Lakers retired O’Neal’s number 34 and in December 2016, Miami retired O’Neal’s number 32.

Shaquille O’Neal is a four-time NBA champion, 15-time All-Star, league MVP (2000), Finals MVP (2000-2002), Olympic champion (1996) with Team USA and world champion (1994). In 2016, he was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame.
