Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on the progress and results of the investigation and decisions taken in the case of the transition to tobacco from a basketball player. The attack on Shved took place on May 1 last year, near one of the Moscow restaurants. The basketball player was hospitalized; he suffered open and penetrating head trauma with skull fractures and brain contusion.
— The federal television channel broadcast a report according to which, after the beating of athlete Alexei Shved near a club in central Moscow, a criminal case was opened and three young people were arrested. It should be noted, however, that only one person involved was brought to justice, the report said.
On Tuesday, February 13, a hearing was held at the Presnensky District Court of Moscow in the case of the attack on Shved. The accused in this case, Yusuf Mirashurov, is accused under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm), the maximum penalty for which is eight years in prison. The next court hearing will take place on March 11.
Currently, Alexey Shved plays in the Chinese Shanxi Lung Championship.
