Pistons player could face punishment after fight

Detroit Pistons center was involved in a fight in the locker room tunnel, before the game with the Phoenix Suns, and could receive punishment

Isaiah Stewart was arrested and soon released after allegedly punching a man in the face Drew Eubanks. According to information from the Phoenix police, the pivot of the Detroit Pistons would have struck the blow just moments before the start of the match against Phoenix Suns.

The reason for the fight has not yet been disclosed, however, it was reported by journalist Shams Charania, from The Athletic, that the two began to feel strange in the changing room tunnel. Even in the final stages of recovery from an injury, the center traveled with the rest of the team.

The NBA will still analyze the images of the fight to decide a punishment for Isaiah. “The attack on Drew was unprovoked and acts of violence like this are unacceptable. We unequivocally support Drew and will continue to work alongside local justice and the NBA,” says the note.

The Pistons player has not played since January 28th due to an ankle injury. Another episode involving him was his fight with LeBron Jameswhen at the end of the match, he attacked King.
