National Basketball Association (NBA) club Brooklyn nets announced the firing of head coach Jacque Vaughn.
— The Brooklyn Nets have relieved Jacques Vaughn of his position as head coach. An interim head coach will be appointed shortly,” the club’s press service said in a statement.
Vaughn is 49 years old. As a player, he is an NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs. From 2020 to 2022, Vaughn worked on the Brooklyn staff as an assistant coach. In November 2022, the specialist was appointed to the position of head coach.
Brooklyn is in 11th place in the NBA Eastern Conference standings.
