On Sunday, February 25, as part of the second round of qualification for EuroBasket 2025, the Ukrainian national team met with Portugal.
The first two quarters did not go well for our boys. At first, the “yellow-blues” gave their opponents a handicap of 10 points, and then were forced to win by 15 points.
Because of this, the Ukrainian team had to turn on the “turbo” mode in order to have time to recover the points given to the opponent.
The third quarter was very successful and the nominal hosts managed to significantly reduce the gap, but in the decisive period of the game the Portuguese did not give a chance to come back, which is why our boys suffered a disappointing defeat.
