“Warriors of the Golden State ” announced the extension of the contract with the head coach Steve Kerr .
The terms of the contract with the 58-year-old American were not disclosed. ESPN previously reported that Golden State would extend Kerr’s contract for two years at $17.5 million per season, making him the highest-paid coach in NBA history.
Kerr has led the Golden State Warriors since 2014. During that time, he has led the club to four NBA titles (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022).
This season, Golden State ranks 9th in the Western Conference standings after 57 regular season games.
