Athletistic/Basketball. ‘Charlotte Hornets’ forward Miles Bridges is likely to spend a long time behind bars if convicted in a domestic assault case.

A basketball player beat and strangled his wife in front of his two children. Bridges has been charged with domestic violence and child abuse. The player himself denies his guilt.

Investigations will continue until August 19, after which the court will set a new hearing date. If convicted, Bridges could go to prison for up to 11 years and 8 months.

The player is currently a restricted free agent. “Charlotte” has already made an offer for a new contract, but has not withdrawn it yet.
