Moscow CSKA announced on the official website the transfer of Canadian basketball player Olivier Hanlan from Italian Varese.
The deal with the 31-year-old defender runs until the end of this season.

CSKA, a club that I have always deeply respected for its rich basketball history and the incredible players that were a part of it, presented an opportunity that I could not pass up. I can’t wait to put on the team jersey and start working,” Hanlan said, as quoted by the club’s press service.
This season, Hanlan is the top scorer in the Italian league, averaging 18.7 points per game. He made 49.0% of his two-point attempts, 39.4% of his three-point attempts and 83.2% of his free throws in 20 games this season.
