National League: Argentino beat Platense

The Junín team hit the ball of the day and beat Platense as a guest.

At the start of this Sunday’s National League match, Argentino de Junín achieved the elusive: win as a guest. The Turks played a really good game at the Ciudad Stadium, beating a tough Platense, with five extra minutes in the game. With some high points in his performance, he closed the tour with a painful 90 to 88 and celebrated (literally; and for a few minutes) with his people who; again, he accompanied the team in large numbers.

With this result, Argentino de Junín added his fifth victory in 24 appearances in the National League; leaving a five-game losing streak. It is currently in penultimate position, above Unión de Santa Fe (3-19), and below La Unión de Formosa (5-16). For Platense, the result is also significant, but in a negative way. After a few weeks, Squid left the top four on the chart. With this loss he equaled Boca’s record (15-7), replacing Vicente López’s team. Platense fell to fifth place, looking down on the current of San Martín (sixth, with 13-9).
