Bryant’s jersey from the 2008/09 NBA Finals sold at auction for $915,000.

Former Defender Mike the Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant in which he participated in the third game of the final series of the NBA playoffs of the 2008/09 season against the Orlando Magic, was sold for 915 thousand dollars, according to the Goldin auction site.

The buyer purchased a purple jersey with yellow and white accents and the number 24. A total of 29 offers were made.

The meeting took place on June 9, 2009 in Orlando and ended with the Magic winning with a score of 108:104; Bryant scored 31 points and became the most productive player in the game. The Lakers ultimately won the series 4-1 and took home the title.

Last February, the jersey Bryant wore during the 2007-08 season was sold at auction for $5.8 million.

Bryant played his entire career for the Lakers, winning the championship five times with the team. It has also won Olympic gold twice and won the 2018 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. In January 2020, a 41-year-old basketball player, his daughter and seven others died in a helicopter crash.
