Denver NBA club refused to go to White House to practice before game against Minnesota – media

The defending National Basketball Association (NBA) champion Denver Nuggets skipped a visit to the White House in favor of training before the regular season game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, reports TNT Sports reporter Chris Haynes on social networks.

Denver’s meeting with US President Joe Biden was scheduled to take place on March 18. The Nuggets were originally scheduled to visit the White House in January while in Washington for a game against the Washington Wizards, but the event was canceled.

Minnesota is in first place in the Western Conference standings, Denver is third. The match will take place on March 19 in Minneapolis.
