La Fusión welcomes Boca Juniors to the Ciudad Stadium for the National League. Quimsa won three games in a week, all against direct chasers and further showed why they are the current champions. On Wednesday and Thursday he beat Platense and Olympic for the Super 20 Cup, a title he added to his record. Today they defeated Xeneize, who was also among the top five positions in the tournament.

At the start of the match, Quimsa took the opportunity to celebrate winning the second edition of the Super 20 Cup with its spectators. They threw papers in the colors of the combined team and gave a nice tribute to the players and coaching staff who already won the second title of the season. The first was the Super Cup against Gimnasia de Comodoro and today the tournament was played at Vicente Rosales.

The match in Santiago del Estero was dominated by Leandro Ramella’s team for most of the game. The first quarter was where Boca got only one unit, but after that, the scoreboard only went up for the champions. The three-point shot is very inefficient for both, but the locals get a small advantage from it, but more from mid-range. We will once again see Tayavek Gallizzi (9 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block) who became a giant in the paint. Let’s remember that the guy from Santa Fe was the MVP of the Super 20 final against Olympic. Quimsa led by two points at halftime.
Boca tried to keep a short distance on Ramella’s men in the second half with José Vildoza (15 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal) at the helm, however, it was in vain. The locals started to make a big difference in the visit, what was surprising was that despite the advantage gained on Xeneize, only two Fusion players scored in double digits. The scorer is Emiliano Basabe (11 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists).
What’s next for you two?
Boca will face the runners-up in the table and the Super 20, Olympic de La Banda in Vicente Rosales. Both are very high, but Xeneize need to win if they want to dethrone Platense and break out of the top four. While Quimsa will once again be local and host the Instituto de Córdoba. La Fusión wants to extend its good streak, while Victoriano’s men need to win if they want to stay in third position which is closely monitored by Calamar.
