Athletistic/Basketball. On March 19, the draw for the basketball tournaments of the 2024 Olympic Games took place. The ceremony took place in Mies (Switzerland).
The men’s teams were divided into three groups. The United States, the reigning Olympic champions, will face Serbia, South Sudan and the winner of the qualifier in Puerto Rico.
Group A: Australia, winner of the qualifying tournament in Greece, Canada, winner of the qualifying tournament in Spain.
Group B: France, Germany, Japan, winner of the qualifying tournament in Latvia.
Group C: Serbia, South Sudan, winner of the qualifying tournament in Puerto Rico, USA.
The current Olympic champions are the US basketball team.
Results of the 2024 Olympic group tournament among women’s teams:
Group A: Serbia, Spain, China, Puerto Rico
Group B: Canada, Nigeria, Australia, France
Group C: Germany, United States, Japan, Belgium
The tournament will take place from July 27 to August 10.
