A few days ago the NBA was surprised by the victory of the Dallas Mavericks against the Denver Nuggets. The game was very even, and the closing ended with an impressive double by Irving against Nikola Jokic, which unleashed delirium of all the fans that packed the stadium. But the surprise wasn’t the only winning shot of the day. When the game ended, Luka Doncic left more than one with their mouths hanging open as he left the stadium in what we could call a van, but was generally far from what it looked like.

With the victory in their pocket, some fans waited on the perimeter outside the stadium, looking to get a greeting, an autograph or why not dream of a picture with the Mavs star. Luka didn’t get out of his car, which ended up impressing him a little more than the player himself. And there was no shortage of reasons. The truck? It is notable for having six wheels and a size larger than what we are used to seeing on public roads. As the American press explained, this is an all-terrain vehicle with six-wheel drive from the Apocalypse brand. The model, known as “Hellfire” is capable of driving on the most complex terrain, mainly in areas far from the asphalt of big cities. The roof and doors are fully removable and it has large nautical quality leather seats.

Now, what we’re all wondering… how much does this cost. It’s clear that Apocalypse Hellfire isn’t something cheap or accessible to everyone. Their most basic prices start at $150,000. From there, each item added increases its value. According to TMZ, in the case of the one used by Luka Doncic it was closer to USD 250,000. Of course, this number is only a detail within the salary of a player like Sloveno, who in the 23/24 season earns almost 40 million dollars, a number that will surely continue to increase as his talent becomes noticeable -attention in the NBA.
