Ex-analyst Minnesota Timberwolves Somak Sarkar was fired from the club, then taken into custody and charged with third-degree burglary.
A 33-year-old man is suspected of stealing more than a thousand internal files. Sarkar is scheduled to appear in court Thursday afternoon in Minnesota. As of Wednesday, his attorney was not listed.
Minnesota does not intend to file criminal charges, ESPN reports.
The Timberwolves currently sit in third place in the NBA Western Conference standings.
