I believe that instead to try To create a super competitive basketball game, we should do different things and turn the All-Star Game into a celebration of basketball.
I can confirm that we will be doing a “USA vs. Other Countries” match. I think we’re past the point where we’re going to see some really competitive games on a star-studded weekend,” Silver told Charles Barkley during a live CNN event.
The All-Star Game is played under normal NBA rules, but there are notable differences from regular games. Since the top five are chosen by fan voting, players sometimes start the game in an unusual position. In 2024, the Eastern Conference team beat the West with a score of 211:186.
