The management of the VTB United League has approved new dates for the postponed matches of the regular championship of the 2023/24 season, the league press service reports.
New match dates: CSKA – Zenit – March 28; CSKA – Lokomotiv-Kuban – April 1; Parma – Yenisei – April 10.
The Samara press service clarified that due to increased security measures, the VTB United League match against Paris Nizhny Novgorod on March 25 will take place without spectators.
It became known earlier that the championship matches scheduled for March 24, 25 and 26 will begin with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin declared March 24 a day of national mourning. On Sunday, VTB United League matches will take place on the grounds of Astana and Minsk.
