Cherkasy Mavpy beat Zaporozhye in the first match of the quarterfinal playoff series Superleague FAVBET-2023/24 – 90:81.
The teams had an efficient and effective opening quarter, scoring 59 points between them. Then, gradually, the Mavpas began to gain an advantage. At the beginning of the second half of the meeting, the Cherkassy team made a 15:4 breakthrough, but the Cossacks returned to the game at the end of the third quarter.
In the final 10 minutes, Valery Plekhanov’s team reduced the gap to one possession. But the Mavpi regained a comfortable advantage and brought the match to victory.
