In addition to his career in the NBA that can be severely impacted, the player, who works as a rapper in his spare time, can still see everything he built being ruined. If he is convicted, the tendency is for clubs interested in him to withdraw from making an offer and even for the Hornets not to renew his contract.

Several NBA teams have also expressed interest in having Bridges on their roster, although the Hornets have assured that they can compete and even surpass any offer that comes their way. However, with this process running, everything that was agreed becomes in the background. The preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place on August 19.
