Former striker Lakers Stanislav Medvedenko has decided to auction off his 2001 and 2002 NBA championship rings.
The former Ukrainian basketball player intends to transfer the profits to his foundation, which works to support children’s sports in Ukraine, AP reports.
Medvedenko played for the Lakers for six seasons before retiring in 2007.
The former basketball player’s championship rings will be up for auction at SPC Auctions through August 5.
