Another strengthening of the Ukrainian club
Prometheus announced the signing of a contract with the center of the Czech national team Ondrej Balvin.
Balvin spent last season with Japan’s Gunma Crane Thunders, where he scored 10.9 points and 8.5 rebounds in 24 minutes on the court.
The 29-year-old Czech previously played for Bayern, Gran Canaria, Bilbao and Betis. He was one of the best rebounders in the Spanish ACB league (record – 17 rebounds per game) in 2021.
Recall that earlier Prometheus signed contracts with center Vyacheslav Petrov, defenders Issuf Sanon, Ilya Sidorov, Alexander Lipov, and forward Ivan Tkachenko.
Prometheus will play the next season in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League and will play in the group stage of the Eurocup.
Prometheus also introduced a new club logo and kit for next season.
