New York Knicks player will undergo a surgical procedure to treat an injury to his right shoulder, says journalist
O New York Knicks had confirmation, this Thursday, 4th, that the pivot Julius Randle will undergo surgery. The player will undergo a procedure to correct an injury to his right shoulder, according to Adrian Wojnarowskifrom North American ESPN.
Randle’s last match was at the end of January, against Miami Heat, when he ended up getting hurt. The recovery forecast was approximately one month, but the athlete has not been on the court for more than 60 days.

Julius was in the “controlled contacts” during the recovery process, according to Tim Bontemps, ESPN journalist. Wojnarowski added that the franchise’s doctors informed the winger that if the instability in his shoulder continued, his injury would worsen.
The Knicks chose not to rush their star’s return and are expected to remain cautious about Randle’s rehabilitation. The player will be re-evaluated five months after the surgical procedure and may return to the court at the beginning of the next season.
