Experienced center Cherkasy Mavp Andrey Agafonov became March MVP V Super League-FAVBET.
During the voting among fans, team captains and FBU management, Agafonov received 11 votes. The Mavp center beat Elijah Joyner, Yaroslav Karpyuk, Vladimir Konev and Pavel Burenko.
Agafonov averaged 20.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in five games last month. Mavpy went through March without defeat, triumphing, in particular, over the regular season leader Dnepr.
Also, Agafonov’s team passed BC Zaporozhye in the first round of the playoffs. The player himself receives the award for the best basketball player of the month for the second time this season – Agafonov previously became MVP of the Super League-FAVBET in November.
Cherkasy Mavpy will play against Dnepr in the semi-finals of the Super League. The other semi-final pair was Kyiv-Basket and BC Rivne.
