Eight-time National Basketball Association All-Star Vince Carter will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2024, reports the NBA press service.
The Basketball Hall of Fame will also welcome 12 new members: Semon Augustus, Dick Barnett, Chauncey Billups, Doug Collins, Michael Cooper, Walter Davis, Harley Redin, Charles Smith, Bo Ryan, Michelle Timms, Herb Simon and Jerry West.
Carter is the only NBA player to have played for four decades. He is the league record holder for the number of seasons played (22).
The induction ceremony for new members of the Hall of Fame is scheduled for August 17. It will take place in Springfield (USA).
