Connecticut Huskies win NCAA March Madness

The University of Connecticut team defeated Purdue University (Indiana) in the finals of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, called March Madness.

The meeting took place in Glendale (Arizona) and ended with a score of 75:60 (36:30, 39:30) in favor of the Connecticut Huskies. For the winners, the most productive player was Tristan Newton, who scored 20 points; for the losers, Zach Edie achieved a double-double (37 points and 10 rebounds).

The Connecticut Huskies won the title for the sixth time in their history and the second time in a row.
