Teams have broken the rules so little in head-to-head matchups that they have fallen into league history.

A somewhat unusual victory was achieved last night in the NBA. According to ESPN, Milwaukee and Boston jointly updated the NBA record for fewest free throws and fouls in a game.

Despite the principled nature of the match, since the leaders of the Eastern Conference were meeting, the teams hardly broke the rules.

As a result, the Celtics did not make a single free throw and became the first team in league history to do so. The previous record was set in matches Atlanta against Orlando (2018) and Memphis And Atlanta (2014), in both cases the Goakes and Grizzlies had one free throw in the game.

In its turn Bucks carried out in the fight against Boston just two attempts from the free throw line. Total Milwaukee only four fouls were committed against the opponent in the entire match – this is the fewest number in the history of the league. The only person standing at the free throw line in the game is the leader Milwaukee Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek managed to convert one of the two attempts.

And this despite the fact that the main star of the Stags, Giannis, leads the NBA in the number of free throw attempts per season – 780. Another leader Milwaukee Damian Lillard is seventh on the list (494), and the leader Boston Jayson Tatum was eighth (488).

We remind you Milwaukee easily won Boston last night in the NBA.
