Michael Jordan’s 1996 NBA Finals Sneakers Sell for $482,000

Sneakers from a former basketball player Chicago Bulls Michael Jordan sold at Sothebys for $482,000, according to the auction house’s website.

Jordan wore these shoes in Game 5 of the 1995-96 season finale series against the Seattle SuperSonics, which ended in a 78-89 loss for Chicago. Despite this loss, the Bulls won the series 4-2. This championship was the fourth for Jordan, a six-time NBA champion. It should be noted that these sneakers bear the basketball player’s personal autograph.

In February, Jordan’s championship sneaker collection sold for $8 million, a world record. The set included the sneakers with which the American won six NBA finals and also became the most valuable player in the league.
