Athletistic / Basketball. Eleven of the 12 U.S. national basketball team players who will compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris have been announced. The lineup is stacked with solid NBA stars.
According to The Athletic, LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, Jrue Holiday, Bam Adebayo, Anthony Davis and Tyrese Haliburton will play in the 2024 Olympics.
Interestingly, LeBron James hasn’t played for Team USA since 2012, when he helped the Americans win gold medals at the London Games. Stephen Curry has never played for the US Olympic team. But Kevin Durant can become the most successful American basketball player, as he can win his fourth gold medal in Paris.
The final roster for Team USA will be announced at the conclusion of this season’s NBA playoffs. The Paris Olympic Games will begin on July 26 and the final match of the basketball tournament will take place on the closing day of the Games, August 11.
