This Monday, 15th, Kamilla Cardoso made history in women’s basketball, for WNBA. The player was the 3rd pick in the Draft, who got the Chicago Sky, which represents the best position in the recruitment event for a Brazilian woman. The 22-year-old center is 2.01 meters tall and has already won two NCAA titles with the south carolina.
“I had the goal of coming here today (at the Draft) and giving my family a better life. I am very grateful that they are with me”, revealed Kamilla. In addition to her achievements with South Carolina, the athlete has won gold in South American Basketball 2022, another in AmeriCup 2023 and a bronze in the 2021 AmeriCup with Brazilian Team.
