Double Olympic basketball champion Britney Greiner whose trial is taking place in Khimki, said she was aware of the US authorities’ recommendation not to travel to Russia, but could not let down her club, Yekaterinburg UMMC .
An American woman was arrested in February on suspicion of trying to illegally import hash oil through Sheremetyevo airport, and a criminal case has been opened for drug trafficking. Greiner faces a prison sentence of 5 to 10 years.
