Former basketball player from Krasnoyarsk “Yenisey”, American Darius Morris died at the age of 33.
Morris’ cause of death has not been specified. According to TMZ, the athlete’s body was found Thursday in the Los Angeles area.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darius. During this difficult time, his family asks that you respect their wishes for privacy,” Morris’ family said in a statement.
Morris was selected 41st overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2011 NBA Draft. The defender also played for Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis, and from 2019 to 2020 he played for Enisey.
