NBA legend Dwight Howard takes part in WWE tryouts (video)

Legendary American basketball player Dwight Howard took part in samples famous wrestling promotion WWE in Nashville ahead of the SummerSlam show.

Howard read a promo in which the 36-year-old basketball player called himself “Sho’Nuff” [персонажем фильма 1985 года «Последний дракон»].

Dwight plans to play next season in the NBA, but if that doesn’t happen, he’ll consider joining the WWE. Howard has already appeared in WWE. In 2015, he was a special guest on SmackDown in Houston.

Howard is the 2019/20 NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was an eight-time NBA All-Star and was selected to the NBA All-Star Team multiple times. In the period 2009-11, the center was recognized as the best defensive player in the NBA.

In addition to the Lakers, Howard also played for the Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, and Philadelphia 76ers during his career. As part of the US team, he won the gold of the 2008 Olympic Games.

Howard averaged 6.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season with the Lakers.

Recall that negotiations about a possible return to the WWE is led by WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. He can take part in the first major WWE show in the UK in 30 years – Clash at the Castle, which will be held on September 3 in Cardiff.
