LeBron James’ son received medical clearance to play in NBA after heart problems – media

Bronny James, son of four-time NBA champion LeBron James has received medical clearance to play in the league, reports ESPN.

After the approval of a commission of three doctors, the 19-year-old athlete will be able to participate in the repechage.

In 2023, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest during training and was later treated for a congenital heart defect. As a result, the basketball player missed five months of his first NCAA season.

James has until May 29 to decide whether he will remain in the 2024 draft or return to the NCAA.
